ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Umesh Patel, a graduate from the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. I have a Bachelors in Computer Science and Visual and Game Programming.

I have been building entertainment and business websites since 1996, including the #1 Sailor Moon site (1996-1998), the #1 Power Rangers portal (1999-2001), and my South Asian dating site with over 80,000 members worldwide (2002-2005). Web skills include usage of html, php, mysql, javascript, and perl. Software used include Macromedia Studio (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks), Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Hauppauge WinTV. In my free time, I love developing these entertainment sites and learning more about web technologies, including Silverlight and ActionScript 3.0.

The wave of the future is going 3D! As a student at AICaSF, I harnessed abilities towards the gaming and 3d environments. Maya, 3D Studio Max, Renderman, and several others. I had the great opportunity to work on a variety of personal projects, including Raina 3D and Extreme Reversi.

Currently, I am a Silverlight Developer at Content Master, where I have been developing online tools and applications.
